    In December the children took part in a musical coffee morning for parents and friends. There was a 30 piece orchestra, a string ensemble, a flute duet and a guitar group, as well as the infant choir and a dance troupe. The morning was thoroughly enjoyed by all and £270 was raised, which, together with collections at the Nativity play, made a total of £950 for Barnardoís Sure Start Centre in Wythenshawe.
  • Loreto Junior Choir
    The Junior choir sang Christmas carols and songs at the Loreto Parentsí Association Christmas fair which was held at the Grammar School.
  • RobinHood
    Robin Hood and his merry men turned detective to unmask the villainous sheriff when the Kinetic Theatre group laid a trail of clues. Each clue was later explained by a scientific fact in this drama with an educational ending.
  • Mad Science at Loreto Prep School
    Science was a hot topic when mad scientist Nitro Neil visited the school! He explained how noise is made and how we hear, as well as talking about the properties of heat and light.
  • silvermedalteam
    These Loreto girls were members of the North of Englandís silver medal team in the Independent Schools' Association junior athletics championships in Birmingham.
  • NSPCC2016
    The school enjoyed a visit by Helen Redman and her friend Buddy from the NSPCC. The girls raised £2000 for the NSPCC in October, making a total of £10,000 raised over the past few years!
  • G7Japan2016
    Loreto Preparatory School was one of only five schools in the UK chosen to do artwork for the G7 conference in Japan. The banner represents the seven values of foundress Mary Ward.
  • Communion2016
    Canon John and Deacon John officiated at the Mass for the Sacrament of First Holy Communion.
