Duckling News: Week 10

Duckling News Week Beginning 22nd June
This week the Ducklings have been carrying on their amazing work with blending their sounds.
Our mathematics work this week has been a revision of lots of topics visited so far including 2D shapes, following directions and number recognition.
Our project this week has been, ‘The Rainforest’, we have looked at different animals living in the rainforest and having a look at what Fairtrade products are.
In R.E. this week we have talked about the mystery of the miracle of the Wedding at Cana.
Georgia has been working hard on her letter formation of the letter ‘j’. Well done Georgia.
Darcy has been working hard on her letter formation of the letter ‘j’. The big smile shows how proud she is of her work! Well done Darcy.
Clara has been so busy this week, she has particularly embraced the ‘Rainforest’ project work and has been researching animals in the rainforest as well as comparing life in Altrincham to life in the rainforest. Here she is painting her favourite rainforest animal – the howler monkey! She has also completed this wonderful poster detailing comparisons she has found – super work Clara!!
Anna worked very hard at home on her letter formation. Super work Anna!
We also took some pictures to show the fun we have had in the glorious sunshine. We have been using the mist of the hosepipe to make rainbows and to cool down!! Lots of fun!
Finally, I would like to say a great big thank you to all of the Ducklings! I have been sent some amazing pictures of the girls working hard and very importantly having fun!! You are all super stars!!
