Duckling News Week 11

Duckling Class Blog Week Beginning 29th June
This week the Ducklings have been continuing with our hard work on blending familiar sounds. We have played games such as, ‘Cross the River’ and, ‘Which One?’ We have also explored rhyming words with our project work of Julia Donaldson stories.
Our mathematics work this week has been concentrating on numbers to 10.
Our project this week has been, ‘Famous and Significant people’, we have been celebrating the wonderful stories of Julia Donaldson. We have shared lots of stories together and linked them to our curriculum this week. We have completed lots of activities and explored rhyming words.
In R.E this week we have learned about St Peter and St Paul in celebration of their feast day.

Yasmine has been in school this week and has been working hard on butterfly spot counting and doubling numbers to 5. Well done Yasmine!
Etta has been very busy this week. She has been working very hard on her counting and number formation. Fabulous Etta!

Finally, I would like to say a great big thank you to all of the Ducklings! I have been sent some amazing pictures of the girls working hard and very importantly having fun!! You are all super stars!!
