Duckling News: Week 9

Duckling News Week Beginning 15th June
This week the Ducklings have been exploring more sounds. We have worked hard sounding out some cvc words. We have also carried with our sound exploration games.
Our mathematics work this week has been looking at positional language. We have played positional games with teddies and completed some positional language activities.
Our project this week has been, ‘Sports’, we have looked at which parts of our bodies are used when carrying out some sports. We have also played balancing and throwing games.
In R.E this week we have talked about the feast of Corpus Christi and have completed activities showing what we can do to, ‘be the best that we can be’.
This week Etta has been working very hard. She has, as always embraced the project work and has completed an excellent labelling of the human body activity. She has also worked alongside Grace building a wonderful castle together. Excellent Etta!
Grace has also been working hard sounding out and blending words and completing work on positional language. Well done Grace!
Beatrice has been working hard also on her matching prepositions. Well done Beatrice!
Yasmine has been very busy looking after the sheep and riding her pony. Fabulous Yasmine!
Finally, I would like to say a great big thank you to all of the Ducklings! I have been sent some amazing pictures of the girls working hard and very importantly having fun!! You are all super stars!!
