Yoga Day 2018
Today, Prep 6 and the rest of the school participated in a yoga day which was organised by Mrs Dobric. The whole school participated in a number of yoga activities at various points in the school day. The girls learnt that yoga is a way of living, with the aim of being constantly mindful both physically and mentally. This helps the mind and body to be better connected to produce calm and focused people.
Prep 6 completed activities such as Group Massage, Gratitude Meditation and Box Breathing. They also learnt about the structure of the brain and worked hard to develop their short term memory. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the day and went home feeling very relaxed!
