Yoga Day 2018
Prep 4 have thoroughly enjoyed themselves during International Yoga Day. We enjoyed some yoga in the playground before school and at lunchtime and we have discussed how yoga helps to stretch our bodies, so that we feel fit and healthy . We have enjoyed some meditation sessions, noticing how calming our minds can help us to focus and concentrate better in lessons. We have experimented mindfully with repeating patterns and symmetry by designing Yoga Mandalas in Maths and we have written affirmations and happy thoughts when creating our International Yoga Day Journals in English. Prep 4 should be proud of themselves for participating so well in this special day - hopefully they can share some of what they have learnt today with you at home!
